Hello my name is Rhonda. I would like to tell you a story. I had a stroke a year and a half ago. I could speak but I had difficulty remembering words and stuttered. I could not walk straight, my left leg was weak and my foot had a slight drag. I stood bent over 90% of the time and had to force myself to stand straight. I am a retired sheriff's deputy of 30 years. Before my stroke I was very strong, hard working and loved doing yard work. I did physical and occupational therapy but never even got close to 100%. I was at my wits end. My husband and my bff (God love them) knew how humiliating it was for me to ask for help!
My husband started searching for a personal trainer, hoping for a miracle. That is where Coach Josh Wright comes in. I met with him for an assessment thinking we would do weight training etc...
After the assessment Josh suggested stretching (big disappointment for me)I was able to crawl into my bed without a step stool and able to bend over to unload the dishwasher without falling over. Josh kept encouraging me and pointing out how much I was improving with each new and more aggressive stretch than the one before. After 8 sessions and 4 weeks later more people in my life were talking about how much better I was. It us truly incredible. Josh new exactly what I needed to overcome the affects of my stroke. This is something the physical therapist was not able to accomplish.
I am so thankful my husband found Josh. Without both of them, I would not have been able to go fishing in Florida this year. My husband and the boat captain had been worried about taking me out into deep water but both had seen such an improvement in mobility, was excited for all of us. And I caught a baby shark, All By Myself!!!
Josh said I am now ready to start lifting weights and build up my strength. I cant wait!
Coach Wright is doing all the “Right” things to help prepare our area athletes. The work outs are intense and sports specific to get the most out of the training. I have two daughters who train with Coach Wright, ages 13 and 15 and they love it!! I highly recommend Simply Wright Fitness!!

I had been suffering for over 6 months with SI joint pain . After speaking with Coach Josh about my pain he and I decided it was in my best interest to have a full musculoskeletal assessment done to see exactly what could be contributing to this pain. After my assessment was complete Coach Josh developed a corrective stretch and mobilization plan personalized for me. I have now been doing these corrective stretches for over 2 weeks and my pain has been relieved completely! Coach Josh Thank you for working with me and continuing to check in on my progress! I will always highly recommend you and Simply Wright Fitness!
